In order to come up with an idea for a screen print project, I was motivated to try out my real life artistic skills, in place of my digital skills.
Briar Heart, Ink on Board, Fall 2022
Briar Heart is a representation of the love for Bagpipe music within the Scottish culture. This project was to combine a man-made object with an organic object. The idea came to me, while viewing the Queen of England's Funeral procession & realizing that the drones on the bagpipes that were being used, was the same amount of valves in the heart. Even better, they were located within the same areas of one another. How crazy is that right?.
